Valentine's Weekend

YM was away for work in Singapore on V-day so there's no celebration for me on 14 Feb 2012. Instead I joined my colleagues for dinner at the hawker center, and went back to my empty nest. But it wasn't as bad as I made it sound lar!

He did make up to me on the following weekend, flying me down to Singapore so that I could redeem my Valentine's pressie I requested for...

Yes, tickets to The Wicked musical :)

We bought the 1.30pm tickets and we went to Marina Bay Sands slightly earlier to walk around a little.

Oh before I continue, this post will be clogged with quite meaningless photos from the weekend. I was supposed to blog about Disneyland but I haven't got time to filter through the photos so I decided to do a useless post just to update my blog :P

The previous week wasn't a great one for me, super exhausted from work and stuff (lazy to elaborate) so I looked damn "zombiefied" in most photos.

Wicked! Really an awesome musical! I love it! The characters are cute and humorous, the songs (and music) are awesome, the stage setup is wonderful, the story is interesting. Go watch it! U won't regret it!

Bought the caramel popcorn to snack on while watching the play. Ooo, love the caramelized corns, so yummy can die!

After that we went to Orchard Road. YM brought me to this Hong Kong style dessert place in Somerset @ 313. I don't remember the name (told you I was super blur that weekend), err... but the desserts are quite good.

Some Mango Sago dessert with black glutinous rice. Sounds like a very confused dessert but the taste is good. I like it a lot.

Dessert makes me happier, anytime of the day :) I am quite easy to be pleased sometimes hahaha.

YM ordered some watermelon chilled dessert with glutinous rice balls. I never bothered trying his cos it doesn't look appetizing to me.

Err, I forgot what we did... should be loitering around Orchard area and then it's dinner time. Went for Japanese dinner at Orchard Central but again, I have no idea which restaurant.

The food was good, huge portion too...

My tempura seafood set was really nice. It has fish, crab croquette, oyster and prawns... Mmm, nice!

Fast forward to the next day. Woke up feeling very vain, so I decided to strut around Singapore city in my newly acquired insanely high heels. Was trying to snap a pic of the heels to show my Hunny :P

Went to Bugis for lunch at this Ramen Champion place (again, don't ask me the name but it's in Iluma Bugis). They have a few Ramen stalls from different parts of Japan, said to be Ramen champions.

I ordered this from the menu, their best seller but seriously I don't know what I ordered. I simply point at the photo cos I was too @.@ from their extended menus.

It tasted HEAVENLY! The soup base is thick and nice, the noodles are springy and chewy... and the pork! Quite weird for me to say that cos I never like pork much. But they really are super nice and melt-in-your-mouth! Really... good!

YM ordered the spicy Ramen that was not bad but paled in comparison to my big steaming bowl of awesomeness.

I wanted to get a pair of heels for Steph's birthday but all the outlets I went to doesn't have them! Bah. Searched high and low and ended up decided going back to Marina Bay Sands to get them.

And since we were there, I decided to stop for tea at High Society (freaking tired from walking in my insanely high heels)!

Love the interior, very posh looking. And yes, I was still pretty stoned.

Ordered Ispahan and I truly, madly LOVE it :) Rose flavored macarons with rasberries and strawberry rose cream. Mmm, gastronomic fulfillment :)

I wasn't in the mood for hot drinks so I ordered a mocktail instead. Ended up it's some mint lychee crush thing. Quite refreshing too.

Is the roof leaking? Hahaha ok I don't really know what was I staring at. I was really half-awake only the whole weekend. Floating around, with half of my soul attached and half... elsewhere :S

Some of the things that I bought and YM paid for during the weekend so I think I can consider them my Vday presents.

A Guess cocktail dress in this beautiful purple chiffon, like it a lot because it fits me perfectly and the cutting accentuated my curves, giving me the "slimming effect" :) Lovely!

The pair of insanely high heels from Charles & Keith. Got Hunny exactly the same pair too, because she wanted something like this for a long time already.

There's also another casual tunic top from FCUK which I don't have a photo of. But it's nothing that interesting.
