Birthday in HK ☂ The Special Birthday Breakkie

This year I really celebrated my birthday very differently.

We woke up very, very early on the second day in HK (my actual birthday! Yay~~~) to board the "Magical Express" to the Magical Land ^^

Yes, I spent my birthday in the magical land! How cool can that be right? Even if it means waking up at wee hours still feeling really blurry and sleepy, I was effing excited the whole while! I LOVE Disneyland!!!

Arriving at the destination- Hong Kong Disneyland! Woots~ Even the train station is already so beautiful!!!

Mmm... you can see from this pic that I was actually still half awake but with happiness sprawled across my face. Huhuhu...

See the clock in the background... not even 7.30am yet! Yes, we were THAT early! If you wonder why we were there so blardy effing early, because we had a breakfast date!!! Hehehe.

Not heading to the theme park yet, too early for that! Instead we headed for the Resort Hotel Shuttles' station to board the free bus.

Our breakkie date was at Enchanted Garden in HongKong Disneyland Hotel. We actually made our reservations 2 weeks before flying. Gee, couldn't hide the excitement!!!

There are two breakfast slots at Enchanted Garden, one at 7.30am and the other at 9am. Obviously we opted for the first slot, so that we could have ample time to take photos before hurrying off to the theme park right after the opening time!

The interior of the Enchanted Garden is so beautiful that I swear it will make every girl ooh and ahh and aww (and if it doesn't, I think it's the girl's problem hmmph! Hahaha).

Everything is so delicate, so princess-y, so beautiful!

Something quite funny happened there. The waitress who served us mistook us as Japanese (don't ask me why!) and started speaking to us in Japanese. It's rather comical when she kept asking us "Ko-hi? Ocha?" and repeated that a dozen times while we gave her the wtf-look.

Paying HKD350 per pax for breakfast is not what I will do on usual day (I am kiam siap lar!) but this is not a "usual day", it's MY BIRTHDAY! Hahaha...

The breakfast is an International buffet and the spread wasn't too bad. They have quite a wide selection for food, including some Hong Kong local stuff like dimsums and porridge.

I am not a morning person, I usually skip my breakfast (which I know is bad) because I don't have much appetite early morning. But who can resist cute Mickey pancakes? LoL~

We didn't eat much that morning, but the food was ok-ish in my opinion. Nothing near wonderful but not so bad until you wanna complain. In fact, I don't have much memory of how the food tasted.

The food wasn't a disappointment, after all, we were there not really to eat. Muahahaha... It's because we had a "date" with the Disney characters!!!

Four Disney friends were there that morning, Mickey, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto. They took turns to visit all the diners, table by table and allowing some photography time too! It was actually quite fun except that they made us too excited that we abandoned our food =.=

The funniest among the four is Goofy! He was so naughty and kept signalling me (they can't talk too bad!) asking me for a paper and then something, and then... ok, I don't get him but he kept bugging me... Hahaha.

I think the main focus of that day wasn't the food but the beautiful environment. It's really hard not to camwhore when the setting is like really PERFECT! Love every nook and corner in the hotel, so dreamy and classy.

I love chandelier! I think I watched too many Disney fairy tales and all these palace-alike setting just made me melted in love. I guess every girl has a princess dream :P

I like the giant mural depicting a fancy Disney garden, so pretty and so apt to the restaurant's name "Enchanted Garden".

After we had our breakfast, we checked out the beautiful "backyard" of the hotel.

I think it's really worth to spend a night in the Disneyland Hotel if you have the budget. If not, you can opt for the cheaper way like us, have breakfast and enjoy a stroll in the compound. Really beautiful :)

And they have a freaking maze in the garden!!!

I mean a real life maze, made of real scrubs!!!

Isn't this a-maze-ing? Ok, lame hahahaha. But yea, I find it really fascinating how they managed to keep everything so primp and proper, so neat and tidy.

The lobby of the hotel is also very nice, looking grand and beautiful.

After taking lots and lots and lots of pictures, we hurried off to board the free shuttle that transported us back to the themepark area. Time to explore the magical land!!! Whee~~~

Next up, my fav place... DISNEYLAND! Yay~
